Digital experts are real (or fake)

Now on the web, I see a lot of ads from different people from various professions. Calling themselves experts. They are offering various solutions and formulas through their webinars and courses. Where people must pay first to get access.

Some even host several webinars per week offering different solutions on diverse topics. I sometimes think, How come they have a whole lot of solutions per week? With all these solutions, their life must be at ease.

Well, I am not saying that they are not giving what they are committing. Maybe the majority of them are doing so. They find a problem and provide the solution as per their understanding. Which people are finding useful too. I do not have anything against these internet experts. It is good that they exist. They are proving values on the web, to the people.

What I find disturbing, is their approach. They forget to stay humble. They try to attract people by showing off a lot of money, luxury cars, posh lifestyles, and so on. I feel this is not the right way to show off credits. It gives a bad name to the entrepreneurs.

Look it worked for me. It will work for you too!

Yes, it might have worked for you. But there are other ways to prove it. You are showing off because you want people to believe you. If you really want people to believe you then show off your reviews and testimonials. Show people, how you have helped others in transforming their lives.

A lot of people can rent those luxury cars and shoot 30 videos with them. If they post 2 video ads each month for 1 year, people will start to believe that they actually own the cars.

It does not prove anything. Showing off liabilities is an act of desperation. You are not showing off what you have achieved, you are showing off your weaknesses.

It is a cheap stunt in the business world. You are showing me how to lose money, really fast. Maybe the case is, you are losing money faster than you are making money.

An entrepreneur who has gone through the entrepreneurship journey always stays humble. Always. Because for an entrepreneur, life shifts very fast. That is why I have rarely seen these show off experts stay in the business for a long time. They always come and go like that.

But how to know who is useful for me? Is the expert worth my money?

We can try to understand this by going through his customer testimonials. We can look for them on Google, Youtube, his website and so on. See, how the expert has helped others. Which specific aspects did he talk about? If we can find enough testimonials then we may get an idea of his teachings.

Still, if we are not sure. Then I would suggest taking up the course, or the webinar. Well, one cannot go anywhere by doing nothing.

What about fake gurus and fake experts?

Yes, this is a serious issue. It is a crime in my opinion. Fake guru or fake expert is not a new thing and it is not a consequence of the internet. There have always been fake experts throughout the history of mankind.

I would suggest checking his presence on the web very consciously.

Is he real? We can check on all the platforms where he is available. From Google, Facebook, Twitter to everywhere. We should try to understand his works and thoughts. See, if they seem real or mechanic. If we have any doubt about his authenticity after doing our research. Then we should not pursue.

Even though he is authentic, chances are, he needs our help more than we need his.
