We entrepreneurs are trying to sell every moment. To our team, buyers, investors, and so on. No, I’m not implying selling our products or services.
If you observe closely, you’ll understand we’re actually selling our vision every time. It can be the vision of the product, the company or even a lifestyle. 😎
We’re trying to convince different paths of people in our interest to buy our vision. Now, someone will join us as a customer, some as employees, some as partners etc. 🤝🔗
But “selling” your vision is a tough art to master. The approach should have a proper balance between; your passion and their logic to hit the sweet spot. 🎯
Generally, I tend to get carried away when I’m expressing my vision. But the vision I have, and the characteristics of my vision that connect with me, may not connect with the person in front. 😓
So that’s why it’s important to maintain the balance and make sure there’s no overflow.
Let’s be clear, we need people on our entrepreneurship journey. And we need people from so many different paths of life. Now, only salary, revenue, or product quality will not be just enough to get the best out of them. 🏆
We need to make them buy our vision. Only then, they’ll work in a unidirectional manner. And eventually, above-average results will start to show.
The art of effectively communicating and selling the vision is a crucial skill to master as an entrepreneur. It comes in handy for compounding results. 🚀
